Quick Start

A first-session checklist from spawning to a stable frontier.

← Player GuidesCatalog ID: quick_start

1. Establish your frontier

Allow location access, inspect the proposed land, and establish your capital on valid ground. Water, impassable terrain, spacing, and nearby civilizations may move the final starting point.

2. Read the top bar

Watch the selected city's Timber, Stone, Food, Influence, population, workforce, construction crews, territory, units, and military capacity. Knowledge and completed technologies are shared across the civilization. A positive hourly value means the displayed stock is producing more than it consumes.

3. Stabilize food and storage

Use the recommended land improvements. Farms favor food, Lumber Camps favor timber, and Quarries favor stone. Houses raise population capacity; Warehouses raise storage. The city automatically assigns available workers, with food stability protected first.

4. Explore and research

Founder's Momentum shortens only your first research, first normal building, and first Scout so the opening teaches the core loop quickly. Move the Scout, collect discoveries, and direct research from the permanent capital until a University designates another research city.

5. Expand deliberately

Manual claims and cultural pressure both spend Influence under the same escalating cost curve. Connect claims to your territory, avoid claiming faster than Influence recovers, and develop important cells instead of painting the map.

6. Close the game

Queue useful work, review Notifications, and leave. Your orders continue on the authoritative server; the next login summarizes what finished or changed.

Good to know
  • Use Rapid Test only on a test server.
  • Production balance is designed for several short visits per day.
